St. Elizabeth Convent School celebrated International yoga day together with the world. A write up pointing the importance of practicing yoga in this pandemic situation and a video clip showing some of the yoga posters were send to students by our Physical Education Teacher. Parents filmed the students when they did Yoga at home and posted it on their Class Whats app Groups.
June 5 World Environment Day
World environment day was celebrated with an online quiz. About 130 students bagged full marks and 10 students were selected through lot.
June 19 “Vaayanaadinam” (Reading day)
In order to honor Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker the Father of the Library Movement in Kerala, we remember his death day as “Vaayanaadinam”on June 19. St.Elizabeth Convent School Celebrated reading day with different varieties of programmes. A common Online Quiz was organized for classes 3 to 12. Malayalam reading Competition for Classes 3 to 5, Malayalam Speech for Classes 6 to 8 and English Speech for classes 9 to 12.
4. NEET Exam Centre
The coordinators of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) have decided St. Elizabeth Convent School, Vellarikundu as one of the centres for NEET exam in the Kasaragod District. The exam is expected to be held in the month of September.
