Admission Policy
- Admission to St. Elizabeth School is restricted by certain policies of the management and by the conditions of age, ability and conduct of the candidate. Hence applicants for admission may be given an oral/written test at the time of admission. The decision of the school authorities regarding the entrance test shall be final.
- The minimum age of the pupil to be admitted in L.K.G is four years and in Std I. it is 6 years as on 31st May. The applicant should produce an attested photocopy of the official birth certificate in evidence of the date of birth.
- Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form by parents or guardians who will be responsible to the head of the school for the pupil’s conduct, deportment, punctuality, regular attendance progress in school and payment of fees.
- The principal reserves the right of refusing admission to a pupil without ascribing any reason for it .She also reserves the right of refusing continued studies of any pupil whose conduct is found not satisfactory or who is not benefitting by his stay and study in the school.
- TC from outside the State should be counter signed by the Education Officer of the locality.
- In case of a student migrating from CBSE affiliated schools outside Kerala T.C should be counter signed by the Regional Officer of the Board and if from outside India by the Embassy /High commissioner of India in the concerned country as the case may be.
Admission Regulation:
- Admission to Play school is always welcome. The child should be minimum three years.
- Admission to L.K G is to be made in January ever year.
- Eligibility for admission to LKG is 4 years as on 1st June.
- New admission to other classes will be made subject to the vacancies in each class, in the month of April/May after announcement of annual results.
Every new pupil must bring:
- Transfer certificate, if the pupil comes from a recognized school.
- The original panchayath /Muncipal birth certificate.
- Pupils applying for admission are as a rule subject to an entrance examination held at a notified date.
- If he/she comes from outside Kerala the T.C has to be counter signed by the Educational Officer of the place in which the school is situated or the Regional Officer of the CBSE
- New admissions to class X and XII are as a rule, not encouraged.
Procedure for withdrawal or Removal from the school .
a. By giving an application on the prescribed format from the school office for the T.C
b. Students can be removed from the school on any one of the following grounds.
- Constant weakness in studies.
- Irregularity in attendance.
- Behavioral problems.
- Overage in class.
- Nonpayment of fees or chronic irregularity in payment of fee.
School Leaving Certificate (T.C) will be issued only to those students who have settled all their dues in the school.
